After class today, I went to the Design Museum. It was quite a tube ride since I had to walk to Tottingham Court Road, take the Nothern Line to Embankment, switch to the District Line and go to Tower Hill, then walk across the Tower Bridge past the Tower of London to get to the museum. Whew! It was a nice walk though because there were lots of quaint old buildings to take pictures of in the area (see facebook).
The Design Museum was cool. A little underwhelming after the Tate Modern, but not shabby at all. One of the exhibits was all about London's place/influence in design up to now (since like the 60s I think?) in graphic design, fashion, architecture, etc. The area though made up for any smallness of the museum. As nourishment, I stopped on the steps by the Tower of London and had my pear. It was actually sunny so I got some much needed vitamin D.
I then had to get back so I could meet with Professor Cooke about my final paper for his class. While his help on that subject was useful, we also go into talking about me as a designer, and he's promised to give me names of people who can hopefully point me in the right direction after school. Fawesome.
Facebook then decided to be lame and not upload my photos, so I snubbed it and went and had Indian food again. Yum. Now I'm more or less done with homework for the week. Again, should really do some theater things (I am still procrastinating on that). Sigh.
